This shoe was designed for a very specific harry potter fan. We all align with different houses, but this girl loved the half blood prince and house slytherin. She was very gracious in giving me free reign to design based on her favorite aspects of the wizarding world of harry potter. They are generic brand shoes painted with acrylic paint modified for use on moving fabric, and sprayed with two layers of sealant. (shoes can be ordered in a name brand for an additional $50.00). Each pair is its own work of art designed with the shoe’s eventual owner in mind. These shoes had me re-watching harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban just to get me in the mood. Just as my star trek shoes had me binge watching stng. I want to make certain that i do your fandom and your request justice. As works of art these shoes should be treated with care, although they can be worn in all weather, just like any shoes excessive wear will cause them to break down sooner rather than later. If the shoes need to be cleaned, cleaning should be done with a wet towel and soapy water. I would not recommend putting them into a washer or dryer. And, although puddle jumping is super fun, i would not recommend it with these shoes.
