I’ve had some recent artist’s block- any fellow creative mind can understand how that feels especially if it’s been ongoing for some time. This is the result of a potential end to that block. Here we have a pair of size 7 (originally) white vans. I went ahead and designed them with watercolor i say that in quotes because i actually used sharpie and water as well as acrylics. The main two characters are done in acrylics and won’t wash off due to water. You’d have to quite literally scrub them and even then- they should leave even the slightest showing of the drawing that was on it. The idea of using sharpie was actually for a few reasons. It wouldn’t be as water soluble (fades when exposed to water). It gave me more control as an artist whose main medium is actually graphite and well. The idea stands that if these shoes were to get wet the water color may fade but the water color affect would still be there. These are canvas shoes so the medium responded very similar except these are more absorbant to the medium than say- a stretched canvas. Which would allow for that watercolor technique to run. However though that’s the idea and i’ve only gone through a controlled testing of it – these shoes should stay away from large amounts of water or even water all together if able. There is no protective coating- and they are one of a kind as i only painted this single pair. Check your local weather before you choose to wear them out. You will be getting the shoes depicted in the pictures. Size: 7 (sized in women’s). Mediums: acrylics and sharpie. This item is made of sharpie and acrylics.
